Our annual Nelson Thanksgiving was this past weekend up in Hinkley and the men stayed at the cabin while the women decided to stay home with the kids until Sunday. Then we all met together for the FABULOUS Thanksgiving meal Sunday afternoon to talk about who shot what, homeschooling, and everybody's health (etc.)
This was a proud moment for Seth and Johan
(although bigger bucks were shot last year).
They did a great job and we are very thankful for the meat (which usually feeds us until next hunting season)!
Also, we got an extra doe this year so that Johan could make one ENTIRE deer into BILTONG...which Zian is very excited about since it's her favorite snck of all time :)
